Filter Forge 4 Pro (Win&Mac)

Filter Forge is a program allowing computer artists to use and build their own filters – seamless textures, visual effects, distortions, patterns, backgrounds, frames, and more. The key features of Filter Forge include a visual filter editor and a free online library of over 11,000 user-created filters to which anyone can contribute. It works as a standalone application or as a plugin under a number of hosts.

Provide image samples of practical applications

Most samples on your website show what the program can do, not what the user can use it for.

reply to some of it's regestration requests.

There has numerous members (including myself) have stated that after they install the software and fill out the form they get nothing back. It is hard to tell if a software is any good if ou can not use it.

Increase scope of application - plugin for gimp...

act as plugin for GIMP as well. Accept native format images from Photoshop or GIMP or other image manipulation and creation software, including vector based. Vector based might require an import filter asking what image size to create.

Original beta tester who couldn't afford to upgrade. It would be handy if the library checked users versions and only showed results that are compatable with the version you have. I realise that this can have a knock on effect with enticing users...
